A Mindful Approach to Ashtanga Yoga April 24–26, 2026
Welcome to a weekend with Scott Johnson, founder of Stillpoint Yoga London, offering a deep exploration of how Ashtanga yoga can be practiced with greater awareness and care.
Each morning begins with mindfulness meditation and pranayama, followed by traditional Mysore self practice. With a slower pace, you’ll have space to develop awareness, intention, and a deeper understanding of your own practice.
Friday evening focuses on meeting the practice with presence and compassion – discovering how Ashtanga can become a way to truly care for yourself. Through breath and mindful movement, we explore how yoga and mindfulness meet, and how that connection can deepen both physical and inner awareness.
Saturday afternoon continues with embodied movement, observing how breath, body, and attention interact and how mindful presence can transform the experience of practice.
On Sunday, we explore the patterns and flow of Ashtanga, seeing how postures and transitions connect, and how awareness and care bring harmony to the whole sequence and to life beyond the mat.
A weekend to pause, listen inward, and reconnect with the living essence of yoga.
